Owned and operated Fern Construction Inc, in Eau Claire, WI since 1976

Is known as a very detail oriented person, who builds quality structures

Provides a wealth of knowledge in the construction process that can only come from over 40 years of personal experience within the industry

Takes pride in the attention he gives to even the smallest details

His experience enables him to visually see the project being done before anything happens, so you can problem solve early in the process, which makes the project cheaper and easier

Designs many attributes to a structure that add beauty and appeal

Career:

7 Years rough carpentry

Personal:

Recived a Division I Baseball Scholarship from the University of Minnesota

Recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award, which is only awarded to student athletes with a 3.0 GPA or higher

Was appointed to the team Leadership Council by the Head Coach while attending the University

Was promoted to a camp supervisor while he worked for the Minnesota Baseball Instructional School

Started consistently working in the construction industry with Fern Construction since he was 16, but has been around the construction process his whole life

Took many courses through the prestigious Carlson School of Management while attending The University of Minnesota.

While working full time at Ryan Companies during his Senior year in school and baseball, Scott had the oppourunity to work on the B.H. Whipple building remodel, which was the largest ARRA project in the nation, which was also a LEED silver building project.
